The students of Edmonton-area school using their Valentine’s Day fundraiser to help those in Haiti devastated by the recent earthquakes in their area. The students were originally going to be exchanging candy grams, but due to a recent change brought on by the students the fundraiser has been changed to Hearts for Haiti.
Starting today (1/20) students will be selling hearts for $1 where the buyer can write a message on it and it will hang in the school’s gymnasium. All the money collected will be donated to the Red Cross for the relief fund for Haiti.
