Fundraising for Abused Children

Jema Patterson, a member of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), is to hold a Kid’s Walk Fundraising event. Jema has seen abused children living in an overburdened system not make dentist appointments, receive counseling or even make it to school. Jema is going to hold a Kids Walk to raise money to train and recruit more CASA workers. Each trainee cost about $1,000 to train and recruit. Last years event netted $33,000.
